Turkish "Evil Eye" decorative item. In Turkey, Evil Eye's are believed to be protective against bad luck and bring good luck. Even today, many families hang these items at the entrances of their homes. The historical background of this belief goes way back to the times even before Turks became Muslims. Many archeologist believe that this belief is a part of the Shamanism (which most Turkish tribes were before they became Muslims).
This item can be hang on the wall. Total length of it is around 20 cm. It is decorated with camel, elephant, fatima hand, "mevlana", butterfly, Ottoman Sign, etc.
